Hybrid Device for Dry Reconstitution of Medicine

Project Background

The project was conducted by "Medimop",

a company engaged in the design and

development of advanced medical device.

The requirement for the project follows the

customer's client’s requirements, who are

drug making Companies that are working in

a partnership with Medimop. The project is

classified due to commercial confidentiality.

The purpose of the project

The project goal was to design a

hybrid device that contains dried

drug, compact, sterile and

disposable, which will serve as a

convenient tool for accurate and

reliable mixing the dry drugs to an

injectable , uniform solution.

Main Requirements

Currently, the reconstitution process is usually

performed by mixing separately from the syringe.

Therefor the main requirements are:

•

Uniting the process of the mixing, with the

pumping process of the syringe.

• Avoiding multiplicity of actions and complex

preparation shortening and simplifying the process of

preparing an injectable drug.
