Main goal

Power system design of transformation and voltage traction stations for light

rail trains, focusing on continuous power supply while minimizing pollution

level to the national power grid

Demands

High AC power conversion 12.6kV at 50Hz frequency to 750VDC

Power required to a single segment of the train is 1000 kW [about 1.3kA]
